























About Elizabeth
A lyric soprano, Elizabeth Axler is recognized for her theatrical performances, including Ride the Cyclone as Jane Doe (Music Mountain Theatre), Benjamin Britten's Albert Herring (Act III) as Lady Billows, Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance as Kate, and Opera Scenes The Merry Widow as Valencienne. Her success in her solo performances earned her a finalist spot in the NATs classical category in 2022. Known for her ensemble versatility, Elizabeth also participated in many choral opportunities, including the Susquehanna University Choir and Chamber Singers, whom were awarded participation at the ACDA conference in 2022 for outstanding performance, the only collegiate choir in Pennsylvania that year to receive the honor. With that choir, she performed oratorios and concerts including Faure's Requiem Op. 26.
Elizabeth Axler is a graduate from Susquehanna University with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education- voice performance emphasis. Upon graduation, Elizabeth received the PMEA Excellence in Student Teaching Award, which "recognizes exemplary efforts throughout the student's Susquehanna career and expresses the music faculty's confidence in the student's ability to make a meaningful contribution to the field." Though primarily vocal emphasis, Elizabeth has experience with all instruments including 14 years violin, 10 years piano, 6 years guitar/ ukulele, and 6 years percussion.

In addition to voice, Elizabeth participated in the Susquehanna University Symphony Orchestra as a Violin II, performing renown works such as Holst's The Planets: Jupiter the Bringer of Jollity, and Dvorak's Symphony no.9 in E Minor. Elizabeth also had many conducting opportunities during her time at Susquehanna, including the honor of conducting the Baccalaureate Graduation Ceremony Choir this year. Elizabeth also had the opportunity to conduct the Susquehanna University Choir, as well as the Susquehanna University Symphony Orchestra and the Susquehanna University Bands.

Elizabeth currently lives in Bucks County, PA where she works as a public school music teacher and performs regionally.
